Because Siblu own all their campsites, there’s a more bespoke feel to them than some of the larger companies. Siblu offer a choice of three types of mobile home. The Esprit range offers great value accommodation for up to 6 people, with the option of adding an outside terrace. Elegance is the mid-range model and is larger than the Esprit, with a few more luxuries including a microwave, fridge/freezer and an outside terrace. 2 or 3 bedroom models are available. At the top of the range is the Excellence holiday home, with 2 or 3 bedroom options, an outside terrace and a host of equipment to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. You can add extras such as air conditioning, linen packs and baby equipment as well.
You’ll also find a fantastic range of facilities on Siblu campsites. There are fabulous swimming pool complexes, with indoor and outdoor pools, spa baths, water slides, children’s paddling pools and splash zones. There are also qualified lifeguards to keep an eye on the kids while you relax. You can try your hand at sports activities such as table tennis, mini-golf, archery or horse riding. There are restaurants, bars and shops on site, with some holiday villages even having hairdressers or Health & Wellbeing centres.
Siblu have a range of kids’ clubs which are open 2 to 4 hours a day, 5 and a half days a week for 1-14+ year olds. In the evening, there’s a wide range of family entertainment including dance shows, musicals, quiz and game nights and karaoke. Siblu offer family holidays in 19 holiday villages across France, in a range of mobile homes.
All Siblu accommodation is self-catering, so your kitchen will have essential utensils and crockery for cooking. Bed linen packs are available to hire at all campsites but pre-booking is essential.
The majority of Siblu campsites offer mobile homes that are suitable for wheelchair access or disabilities.
There can be a mixture of plug sockets, so we recommend you take some plug adapters. These can be purchases at airports, ports and in some supermarkets and chemists.
British and Irish citizens are required to have a full (10 year) passport to travel abroad. Application forms are available from the Passport Office, the post office or from the Garda (in Ireland). If you are applying for a passport for the first time, you should do this at least six weeks before your holiday.
Your accommodation will be available from 4pm until 8pm on the day of your arrival, with Siblu teams on hand to help you. You will need to check out by 10am on the day of your departure.
Many people choose to drive to campsites on the continent, and you can cross the English Channel either by ferry or on the Euro Tunnel train. Siblu have teamed up with Brittany Ferries to offer a 5% discount on ferry crossings with a valid holiday booking reference. Alternatively, you could consider flying to the nearest airport and then hiring a car.
Let your car insurance know that you’re travelling abroad and perform any maintenance checks needed (check tyre tread and pressure, top up oil and water etc.). You will need to buy a headlight adaptor kit to drive on the Continent – these stick over part of your headlight to avoid blinding other drivers when you’re driving on the right. It is compulsory to carry a warning triangle if you are driving in Europe in case of a breakdown or accident. This must be placed 30 metres from the car to warn oncoming traffic. Hi-vis jackets for all car occupants are legally required in France and it is also compulsory to carry a breathalyzer kit in France, and single use kits can be bought at ports.
