Set in the pretty village of Tregony, just 9 miles from Cornwall’s main town of Truro, Elm Cottage offers a well-equipped tranquil base that’s ideal for families with small children. It’s also ideal for wheelchair users, as it’s single storey and pets are welcome. Kids will love the bunk beds (a cot and high chair are also available on request) and there’s a lovely private and enclosed garden. Nearby are several safe, sandy beaches and the world famous Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Maritime Museum of Falmouth are all within 10 miles.
This contemporary property is located in a family-friendly holiday park, less than a mile from Pooley Bridge in the stunning Lake District. The site has spectacular views of Lake Ullswater and sleeps up to 6 people. Exmouth beach has dog friendly parts all year round and offers a myriad of water sports for the adventurous families. Nearby is Crealy family theme park and Lympstone Manor with its exceptional vineyard.

What furnishings and equipment will the cottage have?
Whilst exact furnishings and equipment vary from cottage to cottage, all will have kitchens will all the utensils and appliances you need for every day use, well-furnished sitting rooms, dining tables and at least one colour TV. Most cottages provide linen in the rental prices but you should bring your own towels and tea towels unless otherwise stated.
What are the arrival and departure times at Sykes Cottages?
Most lettings commence at 3pm on the first day of your holiday and end at 10am on the day of your departure. The owner / caretaker will discuss the time of arrival and key collection details.

Are pets allowed at Sykes Cottages?
Pets are allowed in many of the cottages – please check the ‘Amenities’ section of the property description. Registered assistance dogs are allowed in all properties listed on the website.
Are fuel, power, heating and electricity included in the price?
Most of the properties include fuel and power in the rental prices. Some may have a coin meter or charge based on a meter reading at the end of your stay. Unless highlighted in the property description, electricity and heating are always included in the rental cost. Where an open fire / wood burner is available the Homeowner may provide a starter pack of fuel.
Are the cottages wheelchair friendly?
