Nowhere offers such a variety of family friendly holidays as Hoseasons. Holiday parks offer a wide range of mobile homes and all British parks include fully made up beds as well as a host of extras such as TVs and fully equipped kitchens (European parks either include bed linen or offer it for hire). There are luxury lodges and cottages available, with spa facilities and hot tubs to relax in. Hoseasons offer a range of activities to keep the kids entertained all day long. You’ll find children’s’ clubs at many of their European parks and a host of children’s’ entertainment on British sites. Hoseasons also have designated ‘Go Active’ holiday parks in the UK with a focus on getting the whole family up and moving. You can try your hand at activities such as archery, crossbow, fencing, aeroball and biking and there’s also a special ‘Go Juniors’ for kids aged 3-7.

Kids will adore the fantastic pool complexes at the holiday parks and lodges, often complete with water slides and splash zones for the little ones. La Croix du Vieux Pont
With a lovely lakeside setting and a stunning pool complex, this site has excellent children’s clubs and is ideally situated for both Paris and the ever-popular Disneyland Paris.

Situated in Wassenaar, South Holland, this excellent campsite has its own free to use theme park on site, along with a wonderful water park and tropical indoor pool complex. It’s also ideally situated for a day trip to Amsterdam.

The Bay
With direct access to a safe sandy beach, The Bay is set close to the North Yorkshire Moors and the gothic seaside town of Whitby. There’s a lovely indoor swimming pool and beauty therapies available for the adults. Kids will love the crazy karts, table tennis and archery – to name but a few activities.

Ladram Bay
Set in beautiful Budleigh Salterton, Devon this award-winning park offers first class entertainment and superb facilities. Kids will adore the indoor heated pool with interactive play area, whilst adults will love relaxing in the sauna, steam room or spa bath. Rockley Park
With great views over Poole Harbour and located right next to a heathland nature reserve, this site has a fantastic range of facilities. Adults can relax in the luxury spa while the kids have fun in the fabulous pool complex, complete with indoor and outdoor pools, splash zone and tower flume. There are beautiful nature walks to take, or try your hand at some tennis, archery or fencing.

Hafan y Mor
Perfectly positioned to explore Snowdonia National Park, this lovely site boasts its own beach as well as a pretty boating lake. There’s a large pool complex with indoor and outdoor pools, as well as water slides. Kids will be kept well entertained by the huge range of activities on offer including roller blading, paintball, adventure golf and laser quest.

What does ‘fully equipped accommodation’ mean?
All Hoseasons accommodation is self-catering and provides bed linen (unless otherwise stated), beds made up, private bath or shower room, TV and a kitchen with fridge, cooker and sufficient pans, crockery and cutlery for maximum occupancy. Please check with the booking team on 0345 498 6060 to ask about any specifics.

Is the Hoseasons accommodation wheelchair friendly?
There are many wheelchair friendly accommodation options available across Hoseasons but please check on your individual choice before booking.

Are plug sockets at Hoseasons British or European on the European Holiday Parks?
There can be a mixture of plug sockets, so we recommend you take some plug adapters. These can be purchases at airports, ports and in some supermarkets and chemists.

What travel documents do I need?
British and Irish citizens are required to have a full (10 year) passport to travel abroad. Application forms are available from the Passport Office, the post office or from the Garda (in Ireland). If you are applying for a passport for the first time, you should do this at least six weeks before your holiday.

Health Cards
A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles you to reduced-cost medical treatment that becomes necessary while you’re in a European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland. This is not a substitute for travel insurance. Information on the EHIC is available at http://www.ehic.org.uk or from your local Department of Health office. You can apply for an EHIC online or by phone on 0300 3301350.

What are the check-in and checkout times for Hoseasons’ campsites?
Check in to your accommodation is usually from 4pm however this will depend on the location you have booked. Check out is at 10am.

How do I get to the Hoseasons campsites?

I want to take my own car abroad – what preparations do I need to make?
Let your car insurance know that you’re travelling abroad and perform any maintenance checks needed (check tyre tread and pressure, top up oil and water etc.). You will need to buy a headlight adaptor kit to drive on the Continent – these stick over part of your headlight to avoid blinding other drivers when you’re driving on the right. It is compulsory to carry a warning triangle if you are driving in Europe in case of a breakdown or accident. This must be placed 30 metres from the car to warn oncoming traffic. In Spain you also need to place a triangle in front of the car. Hi-vis jackets for all car occupants are legally required in France, Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, It is also compulsory to carry a breathalyzer kit in France, and single use kits can be bought at ports.
