Fantastic beaches

Benidorm has two huge stretches of sand Levante Beach and Poniente Beach, both of which offer all the obvious fun that children just can't seem to get enough of. From building sand castles, to hiring a jet ski to waterborne bouncy villages. It is all available along several kilometres off golden, blue flag, sand edged by the gentle and tide-less warm Mediterranean. It is all so very much a fact that for children and families, Benidorm has a huge amount to offer away from the seafront. Many of the attractions have been built up slowly over long periods. And now offer quality themed entertainment with all kinds of family friendly fun opportunities.

Mundomar Park

There are plenty of unusual and fun marine creatures to interact with at Mundomar Park. Here you can get up close and personal with all those ocean animals that kids seem to be mesmerised by. There are of course seals and dolphins who just can't wait to perform for visitors. There is also a magical tropical forest filled with animals and birds such as cockatoos and parrots, which also put on live shows for visitors daily.

Aqualandia Water Park

Mundomar Park is situated next door to the famous Aqualandia Water Park. Both attractions are just slightly to the north of the main city of Benidorm. Both parks lay-on buses but re also easily and cheaply reached by public transport or a taxi.
Aqualandia Water Park is an amazing family destination offering every type of water activity imaginable. From huge waterslides to water-cannons if you can have fun in the warm water, this theme park has already thought of every imaginable form of water related enjoyment.
It is also very safe with large numbers of qualified lifeguards as well as a first aid station. There are also large shadowed areas to keep you cool, as well as good food and drinks available.

Terra Mitica Fun Park

Terra Mitica is a fairly new attraction by Benidorm standards as it is less than 15 years old. This is very much a theme park in the American style. Offering tourists a trip back in time to visit the ancient civilizations which once occupied the Mediterranean coastline. The attraction is easy to spot with its huge logo dominating the hillside just behind Benidorm

This is one the largest and arguably one of the biggest and best parks to be found in Europe. Once inside you are taken back in time to stories of ancient gladiators, swashbuckling pirates and exotic carnival performers. Wonderful live shows are put on throughout the day so that visitors can spend part of their time enjoying the live entertainment. And the rest of the day being thrilled by the great rides suitable for different age groups. The park has no less than five separate large areas, each based around a different time period and theme. This way you will not feel left out or bored as you can always move along to the next area

Terra Natura

Terra Natura is the place to go if you're family are nature lovers. With in excess of 1500 animals calling the park home there is certainly no shortage of wondrous animals to view. Here you will find an incredible collection of creatures. From elephants to sharks to monkeys to birds of prey, the list of animals seems endless.

There are high quality natural habitats which allow the animals to feel as much ‘at home’ as possible. This means that visitors can enjoy not only seeing these great animals, but seeing them in an environment closely resembling their natural surroundings.

The park also considers itself to be a small ‘jungle’ where you can wander around at your own pace and enjoying not only a huge selection of animals but also a vast array of exotic flora and fauna.

Live performances

If all this was not enough you will also be able to enjoy several live performances a day, as well as a selection of adventure rides which are wildlife themed. And you may even have the opportunity a lifetime swimming with not only stingrays but also sharks.

So if you were under the impression that Benidorm did not have a huge amount for children of all ages to enjoy you are very much mistaken.
